Taipei 101 part 2

As promised...here is the part 2 of our 101 adventure last Sunday. It was dinner time already and we have decided to go back to Ximending District and have dinner at Saizeriya- Italian Restaurant that we accidentally discovered. Click here. We have seen most of the space and enjoyed first class shopping experience in Taipei 101.

After dinner, of course since we are already within the shopping district, it would be a perfect opportunity to burn calories and go window shopping which eventually led us to the Red Building (photos ahead).

What a perfect way to cap of a perfect weekend.

Today is Friday and I have already planned what I wanted to do which is our last weekend here in Taipei. :D

Everyone strictly abides by the rules...reason why MRT system is very clean. Fine is very expensive...hehe

Ximending Night Market...we just arrived and just look at the volume of people during weekends. So packed...maybe one of the reason even at night time it is still very humid...but I am loving every minute of it whenever I am here. :D

We arrived at Saizeriya, I was very hungry. had our names on the guestlist and just waited for 10 minutes. Got this lovely seat by the window...overlooking shoppers

Since we were within the area, Myi and I decided to burn a little unwanted calories; then found ourselved here at the Red Building. Remember, I told everyone that I will share what is inside this building...here it is ;D

Once you enter, there is a mini-museum

Blast from the past...

...really really old calculator. I am not really sure what is the museum all about since I can't understand Chinese but definitely it is showing a very rich culture.

They even have coffee shop, just in case you wanted to relax a bit

This is the plan view of the Red Building, I studied building architecture as an Interior Designer and most of the plans that used this floor plan are Catholic Churches. Makes me wonder, in a Buddhist country, there was a huge Catholic Church before...who knows :D

Souvenir Items...very cute. Their heads wobble

Building made of computer chips

Going further inside, there are more specialty shops to explore

After we had our "tourist fill" we decided to head home and rest for work. I took photo of this very cute Lab. I think it is very old and overweight but is really really cute. Whenever I see him, it just lays down on the floor. :D
