Taipei 101 part1
Last Sunday, we have decided to push through our Taipei 101 adventure. It was still raining and had a little difficulty going to our destination. The promise of viewing the city 80 floors up is so tempting that we have to course through the bad weather and see what is in store for us. When have reached the observation deck, the weather was still awful and we just decided to walk around the 5 floors of the building that boast the top retail brands like Louis Vuitton, Dior, De Beers etc. and just enjoy the majestic and spacious architecture of the building.
I have decided to cut the feature into 2 parts since I have so many photos and I just couldn't resist not to share them to everyone. :D

The famous Taipei 101. I took this shot before we left the building...although we were not able to go to the observatory deck ...due to bad weather) I am still in awe with the buildings architecture and interior.
This is our MRT route for the day. From Ximen Station, we will be traveling to Taipei City hall station. Very convenient since we will only take the blue line, then ride a bus to bring us to Taipei 101.
What I wore for the day. Need to wear something a little fancy since I heard that Taipei 101 is packed with top retailer brands. :D
My new favorite Mandals. I bought from Ximending and would be the first time to use it. :D
Last week, everyone here was commemorating "The Ghost Festival" Taiwanese offering fruits, food, "money" to their ancestors.
After a couple minutes of walk, we arrived at Ximen Station and waited for our ride. Safety is their priority, if there are no safety gates, enforcers would be present.
...of course I need to get my MRT shotn (..again)

My sandals traveling the world. Just need to document it :D
It is our stop. We have already reached Taipei City Hall, station for Taipei 101
It was still raining hard and we didn't want to risk it...so we waited it out in the Bus Station just connected with the MRT station and where we would be riding the bus to Taipei 101.
Welcome to the future...this is amzing. Hologram and is being shown in 3D
I have yet to spot Krispy Kreme here in Taipei, but I haven't seen one. What they have is Mister Donut, however just way better and taste better than what we have in Manila which is so commercial already.
...while waiting, we decided to have a snack. Myi and Nikki enjoying Cold Rock Ice Cream
Z has his eye on that entire pile of bread
Yahoo!!! Finally we have reached Taipei 101...picture...picture 1st :D
The building's logo
We went up to the 5th floor first where we can buy tickets to go up 80 floors and go to the observation deck. Unfortunately in the end, due to bad weather we decided not to go to Observation Deck since our NT$400.00 will not be maximized :C
Decided to enjoy the Interiors of the building instead. High ceiling, clean architecture and very contemporary in aesthetic
Another reason why I wanted to go here are brands like LV, Dior etc. I wanted to have that first class experience. In Louis Vuitton, I was so tempted to buy a bag...the prices are ridiculously lower compared shopping in LV in Manila due to taxes. If I will purchase here I can even get a Tax Refund...it just so happened I didn't find that Classic Style for me.
Lush window display
Myi and I decided to go to De Beers to check out their jewelry and diamonds of course. Myi tried a 5 carat diamond ring...and I was so jealous. I wanted to try it as well :D Oh well...
