Milan Fashion Week
Spring Summer 2012

I am just so happy that finally...after 1 week of bed rest and recovery I am now able to update my blog. I just wanted to share that recently I "suffered" from Flu...and when I mean "suffer" literally suffer. Good news is, I have finally recovered and I think as a result I have also kicked my bad habit of smoking. Yehey!!!

Anywho...Now I wanted to share some of my Top favorites of the last Milan Fashion Week and their vision for Spring/ Summer 2012.

D & G

This is the farewell show of D & G and will just be focusing their brand to Dolce and Gabbana. Their inspiration is very obvious- The opulent/lavish printed scarf, which in my opinion they have made it into something glamorous and festive. I also love their Spring/Summer 2012 shoe collection which is still inspired from the scarves.
Print-on-print-on-never-ending-print. It is not overpowering considering the use of the prints.
Chic Resort Wear from D & G...can I have those fabulous hats??? :D

Emilio Pucci

Channeling "Gypsy" in their collection for Spring/Summer 2012. There were pieces that you have already seen before, however there are couple of pieces that has a new take on Gypsy Style.
(Middle) The famous dress worn by Gwyneth Paltrow in the latest Emmy Awards night, which by the way didn't earned good reviews from the Fashion Police. But looking at the dress, I guess the one who should wear should be very thin...because I also saw Gwyneth wearing this and FP was correct thinking, "What is she wearing???"

Emporio Armani

Back to Basics, showing the power of Black and White for their Spring/Summer 2012 collection. I love the over-all styling from the hats, dresses down to models shoes...everything was a perfection. Clean, simple yet very sophisticated.
....doesn't the corsages remind of you Carrie Bradshaw???

Salvatore Ferragamo

Urban Jungle is their inspiration for Spring/Summer 2012. The play of jewel tones made this collection. I love how feminine the colors where. Truly, with their collection emerges a young, powerful woman ready to take the big city.
Perfect combination: Gold + Leopard Print.

Gucci

1920's inspired this season's collection. From the drop waist to the fringes used were impeccable. I love the suits that they have created...sophisticated and very feminine at the same time.

Marni

Versace

They call this their "Mermaid Collection"
Next...Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012.

See you soon guys and always be safe!!!!!!!!
