Last Date with Ximending

Yehey!!!! I am just so happy that I am able to update my blog again. I have been super duper busy with work for the past weeks and have to give it my 100% attention. Now, I can take a little break to update my very own space. Again...my apologies for this "super-duper-late-post" of my Taipei Saga, I think I still have 3 more sets to update...I just can not not take the chance not to include this on my post. :D Thank you for bearing with me.

These set of photos is my super-duper-last-shopping-day in Taipei or better yet my "Last date with Ximending." Now that I am looking at the photos and I am already here in Manila...it makes me smile and just think how much I miss Ximending- "My happy place."

Ximending..."my love" , I miss you so much :D

I look funny in my "blogger-at-work" photo. Wore something very simple. Reason...I have kept most of my clothes already. :D

I took shots of everything that I can to remind me of this wonderful visit to Taipei. This is the grand piano on our hotel lobby.

The very 1st Vintage store I found in Taipei. This is located at the basement of our hotel. They are selling Vintage and Brand new items...very nice items and this is where I got my ultra cool connector rings.

Friday Night trafiic in Ximen. Everyone is excited to go somewhere and have a great weekend...which includes me

Ximending Night Market has countless entrance/exit points. I tried another route just to uncover other places I haven't been too. Usually, I get lucky this way. This is what I found, Shinjuku Plaza. It is a 5 storey shopping venue with lots of cool items
Picture
This is a very cool store. Merchandise are Fashion forward however a little too pricey for me.
Picture
The owner of this store is very nice and very kind. This is where I bought my silver statement neckpiece. Check photo below. He gave me great discount...you know me + discount = not so good together since I will not say "NO"

Your typical night at the market- street performers. Really amazing shows

Who would have ever thought that they have Daiso here in Taipei. I just love their store since they almost have everything for a very reasonable price. All items are for NT$39 or 60Php. I bought luggage padlocks, luggage tags, pasalubong and more :D

Picture
They have lots of stand-alone 4D theatres
Picture
This is how Ximending looks like when rain is pouring...although this didn't stop me or thousands of shoppers to continue our rendezvous.
Picture
My favorite space in Ximending. Literally, an underground store which sells only the coolest and super hind to find items. This is where I bought my Black Platform Brogues that resembles Prada.
Picture
...very cool botique entrance. I Heart Spring Breeze
Picture
...shots inside the store

This Leopard Print leather handbag is just simply to-die-for. Right now...I am wondering why I didn't buy these...I was worrying back then if I will still be able to fit them into my luggage. I wish I can find something like this here.

Around 11pm, I had to call it a night. I have to finally say, "Goodbye" to my beloved. Honestly, I was sad to be leaving a place like this. I went home to our hotel and had my dinner. This is my favorite dinner ever...rice meal with lots and lots of toppings, vegetable and main course- a chicken leg quarter. It is so delicious and perhaps the taste is not so "chinese" which after a week you get tired of eating. I also had Ovaltine Chocolate drink and chocolate for dessert. I can't say "No" to my sweet tooth.

Time to document the pieces that I bought that night. This is my favorite purchase. My very first statement silver necklace.

White Skull Pendant Necklace
Picture
Pasalubong: Skull bracelet and multi-color skull ring
Picture
More Pasalubong: Make-up...they are not for me :D
Picture
Portable Speaker...this is so cute

I failed to mention before about these receipts. Apparently them have monthly lottery for receipts and everyone is keeping them and maybe a win a big fortune.

It was Saturday Night and our flight is 7am Sunday morning. I have already finished packing and this is how my 2 suitcases looks like. I have a total of 6 shoes which fit snuggly on my 2nd suit case, including all the new clothes that I bought...and on the 1st suitcase, I retained my original items. Now..I am ready to fly back home.

It is so nostalgic looking at these photos again, which makes me miss Taipei a lot. I know this will not be the last time I will be visiting their wonderful and friendly country.

I still have 3 more Taipei Saga post..I hope that everyone are enjoying my little posts here.

It is now Friday night- weekend. Have a great weekend everyone and stay safe.

Ciao.
