Funny Signs

Finally...my Taipei post comes to a conclusion. :D Just wanted to share the signs that I saw which was particularly funny, peculiar and somewhat surprising. I think this is the perfect way to cap of my series of blog for my Taipei trip...also just wanted to make everyone smile and keep our weekend light and happy. :D

I never intentionally was on the lookout for these signs...it just so happened that our paths come across and it is so hard not to notice them and immortalize them and just make me smile and reminisce the "good ol' days" in Taipei.
Picture
...one of the weirdest thing I have ever seen. I saw this ad in Ximending while I was smoking. I have to get close and stare at the photo just to make sure what it is...I thought it only resembles the p**** but it is truly a "big bird." I researched what it is, I thought it is some kind of a waffle, to my surprise it is a waffle dog, with "real hotdog" inside. The name of the food stall is Gayke and apparently they have been selling foods that are "oddly" shaped. "Who wants a Gayke???" :D

If there is a "big bird" then of course there should be "Pukii" Don't you just love her name? She is a mascot or the face of a bank in Taipei...I think :D
Picture
Easy Shop...literally. Surprisingly they only sell lingeries inside for the "easy" mode for that romantic evening and getting lucky :D
Picture
Ecstasy, a pill-shaped brand/ face of a store. I am not sure though whether they are selling medicine or something else...
Picture
Not sure if, "Let's Hair, let's go" make any sense as a sentence...
Picture
Put-A Lid on it. Perfect for those holes or opening that needs to be sealed. The word "put" and "a" are dangerously close together and almost meant a different thing when translated to Tagalog :D
Picture
D-cup Cafe Shop. Such a unique way to name your business :D
Picture
If you don't read signs well, this can be easily mistaken and read as Pilipino...which I thought too at first
Picture
Warning sign posted inside the elevator ion our office. I can't translate Chinese so I was just looking at the photos for that, "emergency situation" inside the elevator. What was funny was the 3rd photo, where the girl was tossing another girl outside. It was hilarious for me, I am thinking for emergency, please toss other people with you outside the elevator and don't forget to smile while you were doing it. :D

I panicked when  I saw this on the menu of one of the noodle shop that we had our dinner. "Near close MOUSE meat" I hope it is not an actual mouse or else I would die. Sorry, I am not a culinary expert and I am not sure what near close mouse meat is...LOL
Picture
and finally ATE...hideout of all "beckies." Just kidding, this is a salon but the sign is so funny and you can't help think what is inside the building :D

I hope that at least I had made you smile with this hilarious photos. Have a great and full of smiles weekend everyone. :D
