Joey Samson

I love the wearability of Joey Samson's Spring/Summer Collection 2012. Everything on his capsule collection for SLIMS fashion show can be taken off from the runway and straight to any high-end events. He created mostly separates from pants to tops for ladies and suits for men.
My favorite amongst his love love this new version of Tuxedo for women. Feminine and very sexy at the same time. I love how he fashioned the coat without anything inside...shows some skin but doesn't look garish and vulgar. Another detail that I love is the obi-band that also acts as train for the Tuxedo outfit. Love this ensemble to death :D
Most of his pieces are on the black and white color scheme.
Sheers are huge this season...and everyone almost have them however Joey's take on Sheer for S/S 2012 collection is somewhat new, he incorporated geometric shapes + Sheer.
Over-all styling of this look is perfection. Another trend that was notice from the latest collection in NY, Milan and Paris are other ways to show off some skin...this is being emulated by this dress- some skin above the abdominal area. Still very classy and can wear to any high-end events.
